Dr. Dadestani, congratulating the days of the Islamic Revolution's victory and explaining the role of academics during this period, stated: Academics have always been pioneers and leaders in raising the level of public awareness, and in other fields, more is expected of academics as an educated stratum compared to other segments of society.

The Dean of the Faculty of Basic Sciences added: In the current situation, where society is facing economic problems stemming from dependence on oil, we academics must help our country increase scientific production through effort and scientific endeavor, and strive to reach a position where scientific production is prioritized in exports. All of us, as members of the country's academic community, must play our part in this path with self-belief and hope.

He considered the starting point of all changes to be self-awareness and fulfilling individual duties, and stated: All developed societies and countries have gone through the stages of growth and development and climbed the steps of progress by relying on skilled and hardworking human resources and creating a work environment and specialization.

Dr. Dadestani further asked the faculty and students to fulfill their duties in being a model for the Faculty of Basic Sciences and creating educational order and discipline, and, with regard to the unit selection process, to cooperate with the faculty management in holding educational classes on the scheduled date in the academic calendar, i.e., the eighteenth of Bahman.

He further demanded the necessity of adhering to the educational schedule and not changing the class times by the faculty, and asked the group managers to prevent potential irregularities by adhering to the compiled programs in order to prevent class overlaps and the lack of educational space for holding extraordinary and compensatory classes./A.A
